Ondo State Governor, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa has appointed the President General of Ondo State United Artisan Group, Engr Daisi Komolafe as his Senior Special Assistant on Artisan matters.

The appointment came during a visit led by the Artisan President to Governor’s office on Tuesday.

According to him, it’s only God that blesses people, appreciated the group led by their President.

Governor Aiyedatiwa opined that the micro credit agency will be funded to give loans to them.

Earlier, the President General of Ondo State United Artisan Group, Engr Daisi Komolafe congratulated Governor, saying that what God has written cannot be erased.

The newly appointed SSA on artisan matters to Governor Aiyedatiwa noted that they have 64% of the votes during elections in the State. He stressed that there are over 372,000 members across the 18 local governments of the State.

He said “we are traceable, we represent the local government as well as the State. We are behind you, we will work for your success and progress. We are entitled to vote as we have membership card as well as voter’s card, we believe in you, we will do it together and reap the fruits”.

He, however, pleaded with Governor Aiyedatiwa not to forget them as they won’t hide their work for him.

He also pleaded that they don’t want to be under any ministry, they have something like Artisan welfare board for them to be at peace and live a comfortable life.

The event ended with a presentation of gift to Governor Aiyedatiwa and the endorsement of his candidacy.

The Governor was accompanied by his Deputy, Dr Olayide Adelami, the Secretary to the State Government, Hon. Tayo Oluwatuyi, Chief of Staff, Prince Segun Omojuwa.
