Ondo State Governor, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, has been conferred with the prestigious title of Distinguished Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Information and Strategy Management (CIISM), alongside an Award for Exemplary Leadership and Good Governance.
The honour was formally presented to the governor in his office on Thursday, by a delegation of the Institute, led by the Registrar, Ambassador Peter Oyintoke who commended his outstanding contributions to sustainable development, institutional strengthening, and people-oriented governance in Ondo State.
He noted that Governor Aiyedatiwa’s administration has been widely celebrated for its strides in infrastructure renewal, agricultural expansion, educational development, healthcare delivery, and economic empowerment.
“His policies, anchored on transparency, accountability, and inclusiveness, have continued to position Ondo State as a model of progress.
He described Governor Aiyedatiwa as a visionary leader whose humility, foresight, and compassion have earned him both the trust of his constituents and the admiration of the wider Nigerian public.
The Distinguished Fellowship, according to the Institute, is a testament to the governor’s exemplary leadership style and his enduring impact on governance and community development.
Reacting, Governor Aiyedatiwa thanked the Chartered Institute of Information and Strategy Management for the recognition, noting that it would further strengthen his resolve to serve.
“I sincerely appreciate this honour from CIISM. It is a humbling recognition of the collective efforts we are making in Ondo State to build strong institutions, deliver sustainable development, and improve the lives of our people,” the governor said.
“This award is dedicated to the good people of Ondo State whose trust and support remain my driving force. It challenges me to redouble my commitment to transparency, accountability, and inclusive governance, so that together, we can secure a brighter and more prosperous future.”
In attendance were; The Deputy Governor, Dr Olayide Adelami, Secretary to the State Government, Dr Taiwo Fasoranti, Chief of Staff, Prince Segun Omojuwa, Commissioner for Youths and Sports Development, Mr Segun Omoyofunmi.
