The Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan, disclosed this while speaking on a forum program in Akure.

He dismissed concerns over its possible suspension, emphasising that the temporary delays affecting the service had been resolved.

Prince Adeniyan stressed that the buses are now back on the roads, continuing to provide free transportation for students in public schools.

Addressing questions about the Light Up Akure project, the CPS disclosed that the government was making progress on the second phase of the project by connecting the streetlights to the national grid, removal of aging poles and ensuring necessary upgrades to ensure security of lives of the people.
