Hon Abiye Moves to Fix Electricity Fault At Ise, Auga Communities

In line with her pursuit of economic development of the newly established Isowopo Local Council Development Area (LCDA), the chairman, Hon Abiye Ademoyegun, has expressed unwavering commitment towards restoring electricity to Auga and Ise communities.

Hon Ademoyegun gave the assurance on Thursday during her visit to Oka office of the Power Holding Company of Nigeria (PHCN) where she discussed, among other things, the need to resolve issues affecting electricity distribution within the council area and the need to restore electricity in Auga and Ise which are constituent parts of Isowopo LCDA.

In Abiye’s words: “The need to improve on the living condition of our people is a top priority for me, and part of the efforts is the reason we are here. Electricity is a pivotal way to improve on the economy of the LCDA as it affects virtually every part of the people’s lives. The breakdown of electricity in Ise and Auga communities is not acceptable to us and we want to ensure that they do not celebrate the Yuletide in darkness.”

The team who met with the Chairman assured her that prompt efforts will be made to resolve the prolonged blackout in the affected parts of the LCDA, saying: “All activities of the branch in the next one week would be geared towards resolving the blackout in Auga and Ise.
