Hon Ayebusiwa Organises Health Outreach for Own Constituency
Member of the 10th Ondo State House of Assembly who is representing Okitipupa Constituency I, Chris Ayebusiwa, has organised a Community Health Outreach for his Constituency.
The lawmaker disclosed this on Tuesday in a statement he personally signed and released on his Facebook handle.
According to Hon Ayebusiwa, the programme is part of his campaign promises that he has since been planning to achieve. He however said has found the right persons with requisite expertise to deliver the process.
The statement reads: “Being part of our campaign promises, we have since been making modest efforts in the direction of health intervention for our constituents, prioritizing the right diagnosis of sundry ailments, tests, and prescriptions, and making provision for free drugs.
“We now have the opportunity to make our plans in this regard. We also found the right men and women with the requisite expertise to deliver the process so that what we invest can ultimately work to the advantage of our constituents in Okitipupa Constituency I.”
Ayebusiwa who is the Chairman, House Committee on State Tertiary Institutions noted that programme targets market men and women, so that the team moves around the various communities in the constituency.
“The program which we are doing in collaboration with selected medics from Ondo State University of Medical Sciences mainly targets market men and women, so that the team moves around the various constituent communities in Okitipupa Constituency I to attend to people, depending on when is the Market Day for each Community.
“We encourage our parents, particularly the elderly, to take advantage of this opportunity to get proper diagnoses, treatments, and drugs.” Ayebusiwa said.
The programme tagged ‘Constituency Community Health Outreach’ commenced today at Ilutitun, Okitipupa Local Government Area.
