Ijare LCDA Chairman Meets Stakeholders, Pledges Development

The Chairman, Ijare Local Council Development Area, Hon. Kunle Ajayi has pledged that his time as the Chairman of Ijare LCDA will bring rapid growth and development to Ijare and the communities surrounding it.
The Chairman made this pledge during a meeting with the stakeholders from Ijare and other communities surrounding the town.
The stakeholders comprised traditional rulers from communities surrounding Ijare town, including Ikota, Irese, Aaye, Eti, Araromi Omoladan, among others, youth leaders, women leaders religious leaders and iyalojas
He also promised to carry everybody along in every decision he would take and do things that would bring everybody together.
He expressed that the stakeholders need to invest their time and resources in ensuring they have a comparatively good Local Council Development Area.
“Let us contribute our own quota to the development and upgrade of this brand new LCDA to make it one of the best in Ondo State.
He appreciated Governor Akeredolu for graciously approving the LCDA, as well as his Deputy, Hon. Lucky Ayedatiwa for sustaining the good and laudable legacies of the government of Ondo State.
He, however, solicited for support and cooperation from other committee members and the people in the communities.
The Commissioner 1, Ondo State House of Assembly Service Commission, Hon. Idowu Adebusuyi appreciated the stakeholders for making themselves available at the meeting, urging them not to relent in their future attendance.
He urged them not to be discouraged because the LCDA is new, believe that it grow to an enviable state among other LCDAs, tap the availabile resources and multiply it.
He also encouraged the LCDA chairman to work on the IGR for the development of the community and its people, and be closer to the grassroots.
The former Chairman, Ifedore Local Government Area, Hon. Alex Oladimeji implored the Stakeholders to try their best to kick start the LCDA and make themselves one.
Addressing the gathering in a native dialect, the Head of the Local Government Administration, Comrade Victor Omodara, urged the stakeholders to make the growth and development of the LCDA their priority.
Reacting on behalf of other Traditional rulers, the Regent of Ijare, Chief Joseph Omoseebi expressed his happiness, being the host of the new LCDA, adding that it will bring more development to Ijare and its environs.
He promised to work with other traditional rulers
in the neighboring communities to support Ijare LCDA Chairman and his committee members financially, morally, physically and spiritually.
He advised the Chairman and his committee members to be united, trustworthy, straightforward and should not give room for any discord.
One of the youths in Ijare, Oluwaseun Odeyemi, stated that bringing the LCDA to Ijare is great with many advantages.
