MARAN to Host Breakfast Meeting Addressing E-Call UP System Challenges

The Maritime Reporters Association of Nigeria (MARAN) is organizing a Breakfast Meeting to discuss challenges related to the Electronic Call-up System (Eto) in the nation’s seaports. Stakeholders including the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), Nigerian Shippers Council, and various associations within the maritime industry are set to participate.

Scheduled for Thursday, March 7, 2024, at Rockview Hotel in Apapa, Lagos, the meeting aims to identify obstacles to the efficiency of the Eto system and propose solutions. Participants will include operators of truck holding bays licensed by the NPA and Export Processing Terminals (EPT).

MARAN President, Mr. Godfrey Bivbere, emphasized the association’s commitment to fostering industry growth and urged port stakeholders to engage in the event.
