Massive turnout for Aiyedatiwa in Akure North, Idanre LGAs

In continuation of his campaign tour, Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa on Sunday, visited Akure North and Idanre local government areas of the State where he was received warmly.

Being the third day, Governor Aiyedatiwa started his campaign tour at Akure North and was welcomed by leaders and members of the party.

Governor Aiyedatiwa appreciated the party faithful and supporters for their solidarity with a pledge to sustain the good governance he had started.

He reassured them of his resolve to develop the state, charging the people to sustain their support for his administration.

The governor said “In the brief period since taking office, you all have witnessed the significant transformations under our administration, from infrastructure to Agriculture and food security to employment of youths and security of lives and property just to mention a few. I pledge to sustain this momentum and deliver further progress. All I ask from you is the opportunity to continue. To make this possible, I urge you to cast your votes in my favor during the primary election this upcoming Saturday.”

“I implore our party members to turn out with their membership cards and support me with their votes. The overwhelming presence of this crowd today fills me with joy, indicating your sincere support and trust in me. I deeply appreciate this love, and I assure you, I will not take it for granted.” He added

Party leaders and members in Akure North and Idanre local government areas all reiterated their unalloyed support for Governor Aiyedatiwa, promising not to back off.

Meanwhile, Governor Aiyedatiwa had earlier visited The palace of Ogbolu of Ita-ogbolu, Oba Idowu Faborode and was received by other traditional rulers in Akure North.

He also visited the palace of Owa of Idanre, Oba Frederick Aroloye, represented by High Chief Emmanuel Adetuyi, the Odunwo of Idanre, who received the Governor alongside other chiefs before proceeding to meet the party members.

The Monarchs also declared their support and gave their prayers.

Governor Aiyedatiwa was accompanied by his Deputy, Dr. Olayide Adelami, Secretary to the State Government, Hon. Tayo Oluwatuyi, former Deputy Senate Leader, Prof. Robert Ajayi Boroffice, Chairman of the campaign, Rt. Hon. Victor Olabimtan, Mr Bola Ilori, Dr. Tola Awosika, Ambassador Sola Iji, Chief Jamiu Ekungba, Dr. Victor Ategbole, Mr. Mathew Oyerinmade (Mato), Dr Ade Adeogun.
