The Speaker of the Ondo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. (Chief) Olamide Oladiji, has congratulated the government and people of the state on the occasion of its 50th anniversary, describing the Golden Jubilee as a moment for reflection, gratitude, and renewed commitment to unity, peace, and sustainable development.
In a congratulatory message personally signed by him in Akure, Oladiji paid tribute to the founding fathers of Ondo State, acknowledging their vision, sacrifice, and foresight in laying a solid foundation that has guided the state’s growth and development over the past five decades.
“As we celebrate this historic milestone, we honour our founding fathers, traditional institutions, civil servants, artisans, youths, and all patriots who have contributed to building a state we are proud to call our own,” the Speaker said.
He assured residents that the House of Assembly would remain steadfast in its legislative responsibilities, pledging continued support for policies and programmes aimed at accelerating development and improving the welfare of the people across the state.
Oladiji also commended Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa for his leadership and achievements, describing his administration’s commitment to the progress of Ondo State as commendable and timely as the state marks its Golden Jubilee.
The Speaker, on behalf of the Ondo State House of Assembly, congratulated the government and people of the state on the anniversary, noting that the celebration is a moment of deep reflection and thanksgiving to God Almighty for His guidance over the years.
