Alex Oladimeji, FNSE has given an accolade to the Governor of the state,Arakurin Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu, SAN, CON over the Federal Government approval and establishment of a Deep Sea Port in the State. The executive chairman who gave the accolade while speaking with journalists in Akure the state capital said the operating licence for the Ondo Sea Port was given by the President Muhammadu Buhari at the Federal Executive Council, FEC meeting held at the State House in Abuja. Engineer Oladimeji who was also a Senior Special Assistant to Governor Akeredolu on Economic and social development said the governor saddled him as competent SSA and his Agency,ONDO STATE DEVELOPMENT AND INVESTMENT PROMOTION AGENCY) to handle the project which was sited at Ilaje local government area of the state before he left the office for another political position. The council boss hailed the unrelenting efforts of Governor Akeredolu towards seeking approval for the establishment of the Ondo Deep Sea Port project which he started as an SSA since inception of the present administration in 2017 with series of due diligence undertaken by both the State and federal government. While expressing his heartfelt appreciation to Governor Akeredolu for the positive impact this achievement will have on the lives of the people of Ondo State Oladimeji said the Deep Sea approval will not only signifies economic boom but also presents immense opportunities for jobs creation, investment opportunities, and the enhancement of the livelihoods of the people of the State. The council boss who described This as a significant milestone in the economical development of ondo state appreciate the”Talk and Do” Governor for the success story of Ondo Deep Sea Port which is happening now to the Glory of God and benefit of mankind. He also congratulate the state Governor, the Minister of States for Transportation, Prince Ademola Adegoroye and the entire people of Ondo State on the remarkable achievement of obtaining the Deep Sea approval in the State.
