Omodara bows out of civil service in grandstyle.,..

After 35 years of dedicated service, Comrade Victor Omodara, on Monday retired from active service, marking the end of an extraordinary career and the beginning of a well-deserved new chapter.

As a unionist and leader who has held various positions, Omodara has left an indelible mark through his hard work, leadership, and unwavering commitment to excellence.

In his address, the Chairman, planning committee, Comrade kehinde Shado noted that the celebrant deserves to be celebrated as he has mentored a lot of people and they are all doing well in their various places. He prayed for more grace for the celebrant,

In his goodwill message, a retired Permanent Secretary and former Nigeria Union of Local Government Employee (NULGE) President, Dr Bunmi Eniayewu, described the celebrant as a very hardworking, straightforward, honest and dedicated to work.

“I worked with Omodara for many years and he never disappointed me. There’s no work you gave him that he would not do. My prayer for him is that he continues to flourish as he mounts the 6th ladder”.

Otunba Omoniyi Omodara, the celebrant’s brother described him as a brother anyone could ever wished for. “I watched him grow and I’ve always seen him as a brave man, a knowledgeable and intelligent person, politically, educationally.

“You’re sixty today and it’s your retirement as well, this is another chapter of your life, I pray to God to give you the grace to celebrate many glorious years”.

Reacting, the celebrant appreciated the guests who took their time to join him in the celebration. According to him, 35 years in service isn’t a small journey, as so many couldn’t make it to the end.

He appreciated God Almighty for His goodness upon his life and for seeing him through the journey in civil service.

He urged others in the civil service to do their work diligently and remember that one day, they will also leave their various offices and always be conscious of what people will say about them when they leave.

Until his retirement, Comrade Victor Omodara was the Director of Appointment and Posting at the Local Government Service Commission, Ondo State.

The event held at St. John’s Anglican event hall, Oba – ile, his home town had in attendance Commisoner for Youths and sports Development, Hon. Saka Yusuf Ogunleye, Chairman, Ondo State Football Agency & President of Sunshine Stars, Bamidele Ologunloluwa, family, friends, colleagues from far and near.
