A group of traditional rulers in Ondo State, under the umbrella of 130 Crown Obas, has Congratulated Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa on his triumph in the recently conducted APC primary election.

In a Press Statement signed by the President of the group, HRM Oba Samuel Adeoye Edema, the 130 Crown Obas described Hon. Aiyedatiwa’s emergence as the state Governor and his latest victory at his party’s shadow election as a divine agenda and he must be supported to achieve his lofty ideas for the state.

The traditional rulers who had recently before the APC primary offered prayers for the success of the Governor, describing him as the Best Candidate to continue his good jobs for the state.

The monarchs who acknowledged with delight the respect the Governor has for the traditional institution as demonstrated in some of his public and private engagements with Royal Fathers, commended all the efforts of the Aiyedatiwa’s administration in moving the state forward.

They hailed successes recorded by the Governor in his first 100 days in office, adding Hon. Aiyedatiwa has done well for the people of the State, urging him not to misplace the trust of the people.

The Royal fathers however appealed to the Governor to reach out to his co-aspirants, while those who are aggrieved over the outcome of the primary to shield their sword in the interest of the state.

The Obas urge political class in the state to remain peaceful as they prepare for the November 16, 2024 gubernatorial election, as no ambition worths the lives of the citizens.
