All the ten wards in Ondo East are to benefit from the water borehole projects courtesy of the Speaker, Rt. Honourable (Chief) Oladiji Olamide Adesanmi.

While flagging off the borehole projects at Bolorunduro, the headquarters of Ondo East Local Government, Rt Honourable Oladiji said it was part of his avowed commitment to making potable water accessible to his constituents.

The Speaker, was optimistic that the development would not only enhance healthy living for his people but also improve their socio-economic wellbeing.

“Water is life, hence, no efforts would be spared to make this necessity of life available to all.”

“It is hoped that the borehole projects when completed would serve as a reliable source of clean water for our communities across the entire Local government area.”

Chief Oladiji called on benefitting communities to ensure proper maintenance of the water boreholes in view of the numerous benefits.

In their responses, beneficiaries of the borehole projects commended Rt Honourable Oladiji for the gesture, adding that he has never reneged on his promises to his constituents since he was elected to represent them at the House of Assembly.

They urged him to continue to demonstrate good leadership as they are ever ready to offer their support when occasions demand.
