Ondo at 50: Aiyedatiwa’s aide, Yemiefash praises diaspora, seeks renewed dedication

Oluyemi Fasipe, the Senior Special Assistant to the Ondo State Governor on Diaspora Matters, has congratulated Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa and the people of the state, both at home and abroad, on the occasion of Ondo State’s 50th anniversary.

Fasipe, widely known as Yemie Fash, described the golden jubilee as a celebration of five decades of resilience, growth, and collective progress, reflecting the unity and hardworking spirit of the Ondo people.

In a statement made available to journalists, the aide highlighted the role of Ondo indigenes, particularly those in the diaspora, in supporting the state’s development and enhancing its reputation globally.

He lauded the contributions of the diaspora community, noting that their investments, expertise, and continued engagement have been crucial to advancing the state’s socio-economic development.

Fasipe emphasized that the strong bond between the state and its diaspora continues to inspire initiatives aimed at building a brighter future for all Ondo residents.
