High Chief Ijiti Samuel Aanu, CEO of Ever-Shine Films & Travel Nig. Ltd, and Gbobaniyi of Isikan Land, has emphasized the critical need for robust backing from both the National Working Committee and the Ondo State APC Executive Committee for Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa ahead of the November general election.

During a press briefing in Akure, the state capital, Chief Ijiti stressed the urgency for the National Working Committee to endorse a credible candidate with extensive experience and outstanding credentials as the party’s flagbearer, irrespective of the previous decision against automatic ticket allocation.

Acknowledging Governor Aiyedatiwa’s leadership, Chief Ijiti commended his efforts in fostering efficiency, transparency, fair play, and justice within the party, contributing to the APC’s reputation as the premier, most cohesive, and largest political party in Africa.

Chief Ijiti highlighted Governor Aiyedatiwa’s proactive approach in revitalizing the party by convening a stakeholders’ summit in Akure. The summit facilitated constructive dialogue among leaders and members from all eighteen local governments, fostering unity and collaboration for the party’s collective advancement.

Furthermore, Chief Ijiti urged political leaders in the state to refrain from engaging in vote buying, emphasizing the importance of upholding electoral integrity and allowing voters to freely exercise their democratic rights.
