Ayodeji DF Oluleye, popularly known as Ògo Àkúré and a leading aspirant for the House of Representatives seat for Akure North and Akure South Federal Constituency, has lauded the Ondo State Governor, Dr Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, over his thank-you visit to Akure.
Oluleye, while fielding questions on the governor’s visit and its significance for the people of Akure, described the outing as the grand finale of the governor’s appreciation tour across the state.
He said 2025 had been remarkable for Ondo State, adding that it was a great honour for the people of Akure to warmly receive the governor in the state capital.
He expressed gratitude to the governor for coming to Akure, describing him as the “Best Governor of Ondo State,” and noted that Akure and the entire state were fortunate to have him as their leader.
According to Oluleye, the people were lucky to have a caring governor who considers Akure his home and continues to visit the town.
Oluleye said the people were delighted to welcome Governor Aiyedatiwa, expressing confidence that the governor would enjoy his stay in Akure.
He thanked the governor for infrastructural development across the state, the innovation he has brought into governance, the new energy driving his administration and the transformation being witnessed across board, particularly in Akure.
He added that the developments recorded so far marked just the beginning, expressing optimism that things would get better with time.
Speaking on behalf of Ogo Akure and the people of Akure, Oluleye thanked the governor for his leadership, urged him to continue his good works for Ondo State and Akure people, and prayed for God’s blessings on him.
