Ondo Governor Mourns Passing of Chief Oludolapo Akinkugbe

Ondo State Governor, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Chief Oludolapo Ibukun Akinkugbe, CON, OON, describing him as an illustrious son of the state whose legacy transcends generations.

The Governor, in a condolence message, hailed the Ruwaji of Ondo Kingdom and Parakoyi of Ibadan land as a trailblazer in the pharmaceutical industry and a distinguished figure in Nigeria’s business community, where he held several key positions on notable company boards.

According to him, Chief Akinkugbe epitomized diligence, integrity, selfless service and values that reflect the finest traditions of Ondo people. He noted that the late icon’s philanthropic spirit and unwavering commitment to the growth of Ondo State and Nigeria remain exemplary and worthy of emulation.

Aiyedatiwa, on behalf of the government and people of Ondo State, extended condolences to the Akinkugbe family, the Ekimogun community, and all who held the late chief in high esteem.

He added that the state is grateful to God for the impactful and fulfilled life Chief Akinkugbe lived, while praying for the peaceful repose of his soul.
