Chief Press Secretary to the Ondo State Governor, Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan, has donated a wheelchair and pledged to pay the tuition fee of Omolara Enikanoselu, a physically challenged student of Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo.
Omolara, a student of Science Laboratory Technology, also received a mobile phone and a power bank to aid her academic activities.
Adeniyan said the gesture was aimed at supporting her studies and making her campus life more comfortable. The presentation, witnessed by lecturers, deans and fellow students, drew applause from the academic community.
Classmates of the beneficiary described the support as a morale booster for both Omolara and her peers.
Dr. Sunday Afolayan of the Department of Mass Communication praised Omolara’s resilience and commended Adeniyan for his intervention, noting that such acts of kindness inspire hope and foster empathy.
He added that the support would not only enhance Omolara’s academic prospects but also motivate others within the institution to strive for excellence despite challenges.
