Ondo govt rolls out activities to mark Aiyedatiwa’s first year in office

The Ondo State Government has unveiled a line-up of activities to commemorate the first anniversary of the administration of Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa under the ‘OUR EASE’ agenda.

The anniversary, which marks one year in office for the governor, is described as a significant milestone in the state’s journey toward sustainable development and improved service delivery.

Over the past year, the administration has focused on key sectors including infrastructure, education, healthcare and grassroots development.

According to a statement issued by Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan on behalf of the OUR EASE First Anniversary Committee, the celebration is aimed at showcasing projects executed across the state and highlighting the progress recorded within the first year of the administration.

The activities will commence on Thursday, February 19, with the commissioning of projects in various parts of the state. The programme will run through the week and culminate in the main anniversary celebration scheduled for Tuesday, February 24.

The committee noted that the anniversary provides an opportunity to reflect on achievements recorded so far, while reaffirming the administration’s commitment to consolidating on its gains and delivering more dividends of democracy to the people of Ondo State.
