Ondo ministry congratulates Dr. Adewinle on SWDC appointment

The Ondo State Ministry of Regional Integration and Diaspora Relations has congratulated Dr. Jide Adewinle on his appointment as Chairman of the Finance and General Purpose Committee of the Southwest Development Commission (SWDC).

The Commissioner for Regional Integration and Diaspora Relations, Otunba Wale Akinlosotu, in a statement on Tuesday, described the appointment as a recognition of Dr. Adewinle’s competence, leadership qualities, and dedication to regional development.

Akinlosotu assured the new committee chairman of the ministry’s full support, pledging collaboration in advancing the goals of the SWDC.

He noted that the ministry is ready to partner with Dr. Adewinle in promoting regional integration, boosting economic growth, and enhancing diaspora engagement across the Southwest.

The commissioner also emphasized that the appointment aligns with the vision of Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, who has consistently championed regional cooperation and strategic partnerships as tools for sustainable growth.

He expressed confidence that Dr. Adewinle’s leadership would complement the governor’s agenda of positioning Ondo State and the entire Southwest as hubs of innovation, investment, and inclusive development.

The ministry wished Dr. Adewinle success in his new role, describing his emergence as an opportunity to strengthen the Southwest’s drive toward sustainable regional development.
