The Speaker of the Ondo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Olamide Oladiji, has joined well-wishers in celebrating former Governor of the state, Dr. Olusegun Rahman Mimiko, on the occasion of his 71st birthday.
In a statement personally signed in Akure on Thursday, Oladiji described Mimiko as “an exceptional personality with a heart of gold” whose contributions to grassroots politics and governance remain indelible in the history of the Sunshine State.
He lauded Mimiko’s selfless leadership and numerous achievements during his tenure as governor, noting that his legacy continues to inspire many within and outside Ondo State.
While wishing the celebrant a joyful birthday, the Speaker prayed for God’s continued guidance, wisdom, and knowledge for Mimiko in all his future endeavors.
Oladiji also seized the opportunity to commend the incumbent Governor of Ondo State, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, for his developmental programmes, which he said have put smiles on the faces of the people across the state.
