The Ondo State contingent has arrived in Abuja for the 2025 Nigerian Artisans and Technicians Exhibition Fair (NATEF), organised by the Association of Nigerian Artisans and Technicians (ASNAT).
The week-long event, which opened yesterday at the Velodrome, National Stadium, brings together artisans, technicians, entrepreneurs and key industry stakeholders from across the country.
Leading the state’s delegation, Special Assistant to the Governor on Artisan Matters, Hon. Daisi Komolafe, said Ondo artisans would seize the opportunity to showcase their creativity, innovation and technical expertise, while also seeking collaboration, training and market expansion.
“We are here to showcase Ondo State artisans creativity, innovation, and technical expertise,” Komolafe said.
He explained that the team was also in Abuja to attract policymakers, industry leaders and development partners to support initiatives that will elevate the role of artisans and technicians in Nigeria’s socio-economic transformation.
Organisers said the fair would feature exhibitions, workshops, live demonstrations, cultural showcases and networking sessions aimed at boosting skills development and economic empowerment.
Ondo State’s participation, according to Komolafe, reflects the government’s resolve to promote vocational skills, create jobs and position artisans and technicians as major contributors to national growth.
