The Honourable Commissioner for Regional Integration and Diaspora Relations in Ondo State, Otunba Wale Akinlosotu, has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Hon. Mrs. Cecilia Ifayase, a former Councilor in Ondo West Local government, member of the Ondo State House of Assembly, and a respected political leader.
In his condolence message, Otunba Akinlosotu described Hon. Ifayase as “a courageous woman, a patriotic leader, and a symbol of dedication to public service who contributed immensely to the political development of Ondo State.”
“She was a trailblazer in her time, a dependable voice for her people, and an inspiration to many, especially women in politics. Her service to the state and her community will not be forgotten,” he stated.
Otunba Akinlosotu prayed for the peaceful repose of her soul and extended heartfelt condolences to her family, political associates, and the entire Ondo State community.
“May the Almighty grant her eternal rest and comfort her family and all who mourn this irreplaceable loss.
Good night, Hon. Cecilia Ifayase.”
