Kennedy Peretei, the Publicity Secretary of PDP, conveyed, “All aspirants exhibited enthusiasm and pledged unwavering support to the eventual party flag bearer.”

Among the governorship aspirants present at the session were:

  • H.E Agboola Ajayi
  • Chief Olusola Ebiseni
  • Engr. Adeolu Akinwunmi
  • Prince John Mafo
  • Otunba Benson Akingboye (OBA)
  • Hon. Sheba Abayomi

Acting State Chairman, Basorun Tola Alabere, assured the aspirants of the party’s inclination towards a consensus approach in selecting a standard bearer. However, in the event of failure to reach consensus, the party pledged to conduct a free, fair, and transparent primary election.
