Popular Ondo Assembly aspirant showers praises on Aiyedatiwa over projects

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress and aspirant for the Ondo State House of Assembly, Akinpelumi Oyewale, has commended Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa for commissioning key road projects across parts of the state.

Oyewale, who is seeking to represent Ondo West Constituency II, described the inauguration of the Igoba Community Road, Alagbaka Extension Road behind SIB, and Oba Afunbiowo Housing Estate Road spanning Akure North and Akure South as evidence of purposeful leadership and steady development.

In a statement on Thursday, the lawmaker hopeful said the projects would ease transportation, enhance security, and boost commercial activities in the benefiting communities.

He noted that good road networks remained critical to economic growth, stressing that residents, traders, motorists, and business owners would benefit from improved access and reduced travel time.

Oyewale further praised the governor’s infrastructure drive, saying it reflected a commitment to grassroots development and the welfare of citizens.

He added that the administration’s efforts were not limited to road construction, citing the commissioning of a health centre at Adegbola, Akure; the Omi-Irorun Accelerated Water Scheme at the FUTA Teaching Hospital; and another health centre at Surulere in Ondo West.

According to him, the projects underscore the government’s focus on improving healthcare delivery and potable water supply alongside critical infrastructure.
