Rector felicitates polytechnic community on Yuletide

The Rector of the Federal Polytechnic, Ile-Oluji, Ondo State, Dr Ademola I. Ebeloku, has felicitated with members of the institution’s community, particularly Christian faithful, on the celebration of Christmas.

Ebeloku, in a Christmas message issued on behalf of the Governing Council, Academic Board, Management, staff and students of the polytechnic, described the yuletide as a season that symbolises the birth of Jesus Christ and calls for sober reflection on His virtues.

He urged members of the institution to embrace values such as love, humility, tolerance, perseverance and compassion, noting that these virtues were exemplified by Christ and remain essential for peaceful coexistence and institutional growth.

The rector acknowledged that the outgoing year 2025 was marked by challenges and uncertainties but expressed gratitude to God for His mercies, kindness and protection over the institution and its members.

“As we journey towards the year 2026, I appeal to all to look forward with renewed hope, dedication and commitment to excellence,” he said.

Ebeloku also prayed that the coming year would bring good tidings to the polytechnic community, while wishing staff and students a Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year in advance.
