Following yesterday’s ruling by the nation’s Apex Court dismissing the appeal filled by the candidate of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Mr. Agboola Ajayi in the last governorship election in Ondo State, challenging the competence of the joint ticket of Lucky Aiyedatiwa and his running mate in the election, Olayide Adelami, an All Progressive Congress (APC) Chieftain from the southern senatorial district and the Chairman/CEO of West African Petrogas Global Limited, Dr. Jide Adewinle has expressed congratulations to Ondo State Governor, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa and his deputy, Dr Olayide Adelami mni over the judgement.

Dr. Adewinle who said the much awaited results did not come as a surprise particularly applauded the nation’s judiciary for its transparency and fairness in reaching the verdict which has finally laid to rest future arguments.

He said the judiciary remains the only hope for a sane society and that the news of the verdict was greeted with applause by the people.

“I want to congratulate our dear Govenor, His Excellency, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa and his deputy, Dr. Olayide Adelami, mni, for this resounding victory.

I also wish to extend my congratulations to the leadership of APC and the good people of Ondo State for their support for this administration”, he further stressed just as he urged bystanders most especially those in opposition to clearly read the handwriting on the wall as the present administration by all standards is divinely orchestrated and cannot be upturned by mere hearsay.

He also used the opportunity to charge opposition parties to come together and support Mr. Govenor to succeed as Ondo State belongs to all.

He said Govenor Aiyedatiwa is ever ready to work with progressive minds to build the state.
