Tantita Security showcases Nigerian innovation, seeks global partnerships

Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited has emphasized the vast global opportunities available to Nigerian companies following its impactful debut at the renowned Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) in Houston.

Executive Director of Operations and Technical at Tantita, Captain Warredi Enisuoh, described the experience as both challenging and enlightening. He said the company’s participation revealed a significant demand for homegrown Nigerian technology on the global stage.

“This was our first time at OTC. It was a big leap, but the response we received showed that it was worth it,” Enisuoh said. “We shared space with global technology leaders, and many were surprised to discover a Nigerian firm offering solutions that rival international standards.”

Tantita’s innovations in combating oil theft, conducting maritime patrols, deploying aerial surveillance, and managing fisheries drew widespread interest from international stakeholders. According to Enisuoh, delegates expressed admiration for Nigeria’s technological capabilities and signaled a strong willingness to explore partnerships.

“One of the key lessons from OTC is that the global market is open to Nigerian innovation — it just needs to be seen,” he noted. “OTC provided that platform.”

Beyond corporate visibility, the conference also underscored the role such global events can play in connecting Nigerian firms with international investors, partners, and collaborators—particularly in areas that intersect security, technology, and sustainability.

Looking to the future, Enisuoh announced that Tantita plans to expand its presence at next year’s OTC, with a focus on youth inclusion and innovation.

“We’re not just coming back — we’re coming back bigger,” he said. “We aim to bring along young Nigerian innovators, environmental advocates, and students. It’s about preparing the next generation to lead Nigeria’s technological advancement globally.”

During the conference, Enisuoh also took time to mentor high school students, stressing the importance of youth engagement in environmental sustainability and innovation.

“There are opportunities in addressing ecological challenges, advancing green solutions, and thinking beyond borders,” he said. “Nigerian youth can be at the forefront, and platforms like OTC are ideal launchpads.”

Tantita’s debut at OTC sends a powerful message to Nigeria’s private sector: global markets are increasingly receptive to indigenous solutions, and strategic participation in international platforms can open new doors for growth and collaboration.
