The Chairman of Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited (TSSNL), High Chief Government Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo, has commended President Ahmed Bola Tinubu for signing the Act establishing the Nigeria Maritime University, Okerenkoko, in Warri South Local Government Area of Delta State.

He described the move as a landmark decision that has given full legal recognition to the institution.

In a letter of appreciation to the President, Tompolo stated that the signing of the Act has reinforced the hopes and aspirations for educational advancement and development in the Niger Delta region.

He noted that this gesture not only symbolizes Tinubu’s goodwill toward the region but also demonstrates his administration’s unwavering commitment to its growth and progress.

Expressing his gratitude, Tompolo emphasized that the people of the Niger Delta are deeply appreciative of this historic endorsement, as it paves the way for enhanced learning opportunities and development.

He acknowledged that by signing the 2025 Act into law, the President has provided the university with a solid legal foundation, further strengthening its role in maritime education and national development.
