We’ll Employ Nurses, Teachers- Hon Ademoyegun Tells Constituents

The Chairman of Isowopo Local Government Development Area, Hon Abiye Ademoyegun, has said his plan to recruit teachers into the public primary schools within his LCDA and nurses into the health centres.

The Chairman disclosed on Thursday this while interacting with the media on her assessment of the LCDA after touring the six constituent communities. She identified what she called the critical challenges with special focus on the need to address employment as part of the key issues affecting the schools and health centers within the LCDA.

She lamented the absence of qualified teachers of essential subjects in the primary schools and the same situation of lacking nurses in the health centres within the LCDA. She said her plan to employ more of qualified teachers and nurses to fill the gaps.

“We have to recognise the pivotal roles of teachers and nurses in the educational and health sectors. The community health is being threatened by the absence of qualified nurses and the same way the future of our young ones is at stake without qualified teachers.

“We are using this opportunity to invite interested individuals to apply for teaching positions and health center nursing roles within the six communities of Isowopo. Interested candidates should be be ready to live in any of the six communities of Isowopo.”
