Ondo State Governor, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, has congratulated the Olowo of Owo and Chairman of the Ondo State Council of Traditional Rulers, His Imperial Majesty, Oba (Dr.) Ajibade Gbadegesin Ogunoye III, on the occasion of his 60th birthday.
In a congratulatory message issued on Monday by his Chief Press Secretary, Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan, the governor described the monarch as a royal father of wisdom, integrity and remarkable foresight whose leadership has continued to promote peace, unity and development in Owo Kingdom and across Ondo State.
Governor Aiyedatiwa said Oba Ogunoye has dedicated his life to selfless service, purposeful leadership and the preservation of the state’s rich cultural heritage.
The governor also commended the monarch’s role as Chairman of the Ondo State Council of Traditional Rulers, noting that he has strengthened harmony among traditional rulers and enhanced collaboration between the traditional institution and government in advancing sustainable development.
He further acknowledged the monarch’s distinguished career as a legal practitioner, retired Permanent Secretary, accomplished administrator and Chancellor of the Federal University of Technology, Babura, saying the wealth of experience acquired over the years has continued to enrich his service to humanity.
Aiyedatiwa joined the royal family, the people of Owo Kingdom, friends and well-wishers in celebrating the revered monarch, expressing gratitude to God for preserving his life and impactful reign.
The governor prayed for the Olowo’s continued good health, renewed strength, divine wisdom and many more years of peaceful and prosperous service to the people.
