The Speaker of the Ondo State House of Assembly, has congratulated the Olowo of Owo Kingdom, on the occasion of the monarch’s birthday.
In a congratulatory message personally signed on Monday in Akure, Oladiji described the revered monarch as an exceptional traditional ruler whose reign has been marked by wisdom, dignity and an unwavering commitment to the peace, unity and development of Owo Kingdom and Ondo State.
The Speaker said the monarch has continued to provide exemplary leadership while serving as a custodian of the rich cultural heritage of the Owo people.
“Today, I join the good people of Owo Kingdom, Ondo State, and well-wishers across Nigeria in celebrating a revered monarch, custodian of culture, and symbol of unity.
This special day provides an opportunity to celebrate your exemplary leadership and the development of Owo Kingdom,” the statement read.
Oladiji also commended the royal father for his steadfast support for initiatives aimed at improving the welfare of the people of Owo and promoting socio-economic development in the state.
He urged the monarch to continue providing fatherly guidance while preserving the rich cultural heritage and traditions of Owo Kingdom.
The Speaker prayed for God’s continued good health, divine protection, and wisdom for Oba Ogunoye, wishing him many more years of fruitful and peaceful reign on the throne of his forefathers.
