The Governor of Ondo State, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa has reiterated his administration’s commitment to provision of quality leadership and good governance to the people of the State.

Governor Aiyedatiwa stated this while addressing his supporters who came to receive him at the Akure airport on Tuesday after receiving his certificate of return in Abuja.

The Governor added that his administration will also continue to provide infrastructural development, quality health care, qualitative education, security, protection of lives and property, enabling environment for businesses to thrive and attract investors to the state, for more development.

Governor Aiyedatiwa who couldn’t hide his joy, appreciated his supporters for coming to welcome him.

According to him, the mandate given to him is not for him only but for Ondo State people. “We must all be prepared to defend this mandate, it’s not yet time to relax, even though official campaign has not been declared, but we must all go back to our various units, wards and local government to continue to propagate the news” he said.

Governor Aiyedatiwa, while soliciting for more support and cooperation from the people, appreciated other contestants at the APC primary election for their understanding.

“The primary election that took place on the 20th and extended to the 21st of April was an in-house family affair, the 16 of us that came out from the APC family are all qualified but one person has to represent the party. Even though I emerged as the flag bearer, we are still the same family. I want to appreciate the other aspirants for the show of sportsmanship after the election” he said.
