Aiyedatiwa has come to sustain, improve on Akeredolu’s good legacies -Takuro

The Commisioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Alhaji Amidu Takuro has informed that the Ondo State Governor and Candidate of the APC in the forth coming election, Hon. Lucky Aiyedatiwa will sustain and improve on the good legacies of Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu.

Alhaji Amidu Takuro gave this hint while addressing the Management and Staff of the Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, in his office, in Akure.

Takuro said he was sure of this, because Governor Aiyedatiwa has continually vowed privately and publicly to do this.

He informed that Aiyedatiwa who is a man of his words, promised to sustain and improve on Akeredolu’s good legacies because he was carried along and was part of decision making in all that Akeredolu did.

The Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs Commissioner added that ,Governor Aiyedatiwa will not abandon projects embarked upon by Akeredolu during his life time.

Alhaji Amidu Takuro disclosed that implementation of the newly created LCDAs will soon commence, as Aiyedatiwa will leave no stone unturned to make life better for the people of the State.

While seeking for support for the Governor, Takuro added that Aiyedatiwa will priotise the welfare of workers and that of the entire citizenry.

Takuro who was given a rousig welcome back to the Ministry, promised to continue to do good and give Governor Aiyedatiwa the desired and needed support to succeed.

He opined that the image of the Ministry has been redeemed and that he will work assiduously to make it the face of the government of the day.

He thanked the management and staff of the Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy affairs, the Obas and stakeholders, for the confidence reposed in him and promised not to disappoint them.

The entire management and members of staff who could not hide their joy, welcomed the Commissioner with various songs and dance steps.

While pledging their support and loyalty, they thanked him for prioritising their welfare and advised him to do more.

Prayers were said for the Commissioner, the Governor and entire cabinet by both Christian and Muslim Clerics.
