Ondo State Governor, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, has expressed sadness over the death of Alhaji Idris Ojakunle Takuro, father of the State Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Alhaji Amidu Takuro.
The Governor, in a condolence message, extended his heartfelt sympathies to the Commissioner, the Takuro family and all those mourning the deceased.
Aiyedatiwa, who described the loss of a parent as deeply painful, urged the Commissioner and his family to take solace in the memories of the life their father lived and the positive impact he had on people around him.
On behalf of the government and people of Ondo State, the Governor prayed that Almighty Allah would forgive the shortcomings of the deceased and grant him Al-Jannatul Firdaus.
He also prayed for Allah’s comfort, strength and fortitude for the bereaved family to bear the irreparable loss.
The Governor assured the family of his thoughts and prayers at this difficult time.
