Ondo State Governor, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, has re-appointed Dr. Taiwo Fasoranti as the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), with the appointment taking immediate effect.

The reappointment was announced in a statement issued on Tuesday by the Governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan.

Dr. Fasoranti had served as SSG until March 30, 2026, when he resigned from the position to contest the All Progressives Congress (APC) Senate primaries for the Ondo Central Senatorial District.

According to the statement, the governor approved his return to the office in recognition of his vast experience in public administration, policy formulation and governance.

Governor Aiyedatiwa congratulated Dr. Fasoranti on his reappointment and urged him to justify the confidence reposed in him by serving the people of Ondo State with dedication, integrity and unwavering commitment.

The governor also charged the reappointed SSG to continue supporting the implementation of the administration’s OUR EASE agenda, aimed at delivering sustainable development and improved welfare for residents of the state.

Dr. Fasoranti is expected to immediately resume his responsibilities as the state’s top administrative official, coordinating government policies and programmes in line with the governor’s development priorities.
