The Commissioner representing Ondo state on the governing board of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Hon. Gbenga Edema, has felicitated Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, on his inauguration as President and Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces, Federal Republic of Nigeria.
While commending the new president on his resilience in fulfilling his lifelong ambition towards placing the country on its right footings, Edema emphasised that under the watch of Tinubu, Nigeria will, no doubt, witness massive turnarounds across-the-board.
In a congratulatory message personally signed by him, Edema described Tinubu as a leader who has, over the years, shown his readiness for the task ahead, adding that the new president will lead and steer the country towards progress and development in the direction of his “Renewed Hope” mantra.
He praised the president’s vision for a better and more prosperous nation and expressed confidence in Tinubu’s ability to deliver on his promises, going by his track record, and his innate and proven ability to assemble the best of minds into his team.
The former Chairman of the Ondo State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (OSAPADEC), who equally congratulated the Vice President, Kashim Shettima, GCON, lauded the ruling All Progressives Congress for the feat achieved.
According to Edema, as the 16th president of Nigeria, Tinubu’s inauguration marks a new and historic chapter in the annals of the country, with unbridled optimism that his leadership will bring positive change to the lives of Nigerians.
The statement read: “I join the entire country to celebrate and congratulate you on your inauguration as President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
“This is a momentous occasion, and I am honoured to witness the seamless transition of power that is a hallmark of our democratic system.
