Eid-el-Fitri: Former Ondo Deputy Speaker, Emiola felicitates Muslim faithful

The Chairman Ondo State House of Assembly Service Commission, Rt.Hon Dare Emiola has expressed his congratulatory message to all Muslims faithfuls in Akoko South West constituency 1, OKA AKOKO ,Ondo State and Nigeria as a whole on this year’s celebration of Eid-el-Fitri saying the core lesson of piety must continue to reflect in their daily lives now that the fasting season is over.

Emiola who was a Speaker and two-term Deputy Speaker in the Ondo State House of Assembly, representing Akoko South West constituency 1, OKA AKOKO made the congratulatory message while speaking with journalists in his constituency during celebration.

According to him Ramadan season preaches the message of sacrifice and that Muslims among all other faithfuls must continue in the way of selfless giving as a way of life in line with the injunction of Allah, the most benevolent.

The Commission Chairman While particularly congratulating Muslims in his constituency said the Eid-il- Fitri celebration offers another opportunity for all Nigerians to pray for the smooth transition of governance at all level saying no development can thrive in a state where strife persist.

Emiola who use the occasion to specially celebrate with the Muslim faithfuls as they celebrate the Eid-el-Fitri said his hope and prayer is that they continue to display the spiritual lessons of Ramadan and the Holy Prophet’s teachings in their daily life.

He also used the occasion to charge all Nigerians irrespective of their religion to continue to live peaceable with one another in promotion of peace and unity of the nation.
