Ex-Minister, Adegoroye presents employment letters to another batch recruited into NRC

Former Minister of State for Transportation, Prince Ademola Adegoroye, has assured Nigerian youths that they will have better opportunities for employment under the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Adegoroye gave the assurance on Monday while presenting letters of employment to another batch of 15 youths of Ondo State origin newly recruited into the Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC), in Akure.

The Minister was represented at the brief event by his wife, Chief Magistrate Olufunke Adegoroye and former member of the House of Representatives, Hon. Afe Olowokere.

Adegoroye had last month presented similar letters to 20 beneficiaries employed int the NRC and four others recruited into the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA).
In his speech to the beneficiaries, Prince Adegoroye said: “When I got a message from the MD of the Nigeria Railway Corporation that the letters of employment of another fifteen graduates were ready and would be sent to me, I was elated . Elated particularly because in some places, that opportunity would have disappeared the moment I ceased being Minister.

“As I have stated severally before and at different fora, my sole aim in politics and offering to serve my people has been to make a difference. I give God the glory that I have demonstrated my capacity and devotion to my party and my people in the last ten months since becoming a Minister in the administration of President Buhari which lasted till the 29th of May this year.

“May I urge all the newly employed to remember always what it has taken and how long it has taken to get employed. Please do not do any other thing than to work and work hard and do well in the responsibilities assigned to you.

“I have no doubt that by God’s grace, this goodwill will even be bigger and greater under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.”
