Gov Aiyedatiwa inspects Akure-Idanre dualization project, assures on timely completion

Ondo State Governor, His Excellency, Hon Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, on Friday inspected the ongoing dualisation of the Akure-Idanre road in Akure.

The Governor, who received rousing welcome from residents and road users, assured them that the project would be sped up and completed on time.

The Commissioner for Infrastructure, Lands and Housing, Engr Abiola Olawoye, conducted the governor round the project, along Oke Aro road, explaining its technical details and progress.

Responding to requests from residents, Governor Aiyedatiwa also assured that some adjoining roads would be constructed to complement the project and improve connectivity in the area.

The governor was accompanied on the inspection by the Secretary to the State Government, Dr Taiwo Fasoranti, and the Commissioner for Finance, Mrs. Omowunmi Isaac.
