Ondo State Governor, Dr Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa has relieved all his political aides of their duties with immediate effect, as part of efforts to enhance administrative efficiency and improve service delivery in the state.
The affected aides include all Senior Special Assistants (SSAs) and Special Assistants (SAs) serving under the current administration.
This was contained in a statement issued by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Ebenezer Adeniyan, on Monday.
The governor expressed appreciation for their contributions to the development of the state, wishing them success in their future endeavours.
According to the statement, the move is part of a broader strategy to strengthen coordination within government operations and inject fresh capacity into the system.
The statement further said that the governor will, in due course, appoint about 1,000 new aides drawn from the 203 wards across the 18 local government areas of the state.
The planned appointments are expected to promote inclusiveness and ensure wider grassroots representation in governance.
