Governor Aiyedatiwa interested in stable academic calendar – Adeniyan

The Chief Press Secretary to Ondo State Governor, Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan, has expressed the Governor Aiyedatiwa’s determination to ensuring stability in the academic calendars of tertiary institutions in the State.
Adeniyan revealed this while receiving members of “The Youths Converge (TYC) in his office on Tuesday.
He added that Governor Aiyedatiwa was passionate about youth inclusiveness and his administration would focus on youth development.
“It is unfortunate that it will be difficult for us to eradicate totally, the challenges facing tertiary institutions, if we cannot eradicate them totally, there’s no way we can eradicate strike. I know that the Governor is doing everything possible to give attention to tertiary institutions”.
He stressed that Governor Aiyedatiwa would encourage activities that will perfect the structure of the academic of the students in Ondo State.
While appreciating the group for the visit, he urged them to give their best support to Governor Aiyedatiwa led administration.
Earlier in his address, the State Secretary of TYC, Oluwaseyi Joseph Ajayi who led the team, congratulated the CPS on his appointment, adding that his appointment is well deserved.
Ajayi, who represented the State Chairman of TYC, Samuel Asulewon, pleaded that the State should invest more in education, skill acquisition and other related areas.
“We know that the State is trying its best, but we want the government to do more by giving priority to education, do more to the development of the State”.
He urged Governor Aiyedatiwa led administration to give more opportunities to youths to let them understand what they have in the country.
“We want to have more youths in this government. We shall be glad of our issues are being taken into consideration”
