I’m going home fulfilled – ODHA Speaker

As Ondo 9th Assembly is winding down, the Speaker of the House, Rt. Hon. Bamidele Oleyelogun has said that he is going home fulfilled and satisfied.

He made this known during a courtesy visit to some selected Traditional rulers in Ifedore Local Government Area of Ondo State.

” With what God has used me to do in Ondo State, generally, I feel fulfilled and I appreciate God .In the history of Ondo State, I am the longest serving Speaker, I’m the first Speaker in Ondo State to get a position at the conference of Speakers, l am the Chairman, Southwest conference of Speakers. It is a rare one that has never happened in Ondo State”

According to him, his reason for the visit was to express his gratitude to them for their support to him during his twelve years in Ondo State House of Assembly.

“When I started, this was how I was visiting them individually and they promised to be behind me, always pray for me and a host of other promises and they all fulfilled their promises. Now, I have to thank them again as I am coming back home”.

The Monarchs, however, expressed their happiness and gratitude to God for his successful tenure as a lawmaker for twelve years, stressing that the Speaker has not disappoint the people of his constituency.

While describing the Speaker as a wonderful man, the Monarchs also added that he has performed creditably well and are proud of him. They added that he had made impacts, moulded destinies and has become a role model for the politicians coming behind him.

The traditional rulers visited includes; The Asarun of Isarun, Oba Joseph Adebobola, the Alara of Ilara-mokin, Oba Abiodun Aderemi Adefeyinti, the Onibuji of Ibuji, Oba Folagbade Ojo Onibonoje, the Owo of Araromi Omoladan, Oba Jayeoba Bamidele Alabi, the Onimariwo of Mariwo, Oba Julius Adegoke Aluko and the Olowena of Owode-Owena, Oba Isaac Tifase.
