Maritime: Adeyanju expresses readiness to contest

The President General of Maritime Workers Union of Nigeria (MWUN) Comrade Adewale Adeyanju has officially notify members that have saved them meritoriously he is re contesting

But this time for the position of Deputy National President of the Nigerian Labor Congress (NLC).

The election slated to hold during the union’s 13th National Delegate Conference which is scheduled for 7th and 8th of February 2023 as usual will attract the present of heavy weight Labor congress members from far and near.

According to the release ” President of NLC position is contested unopposed by Comrade Joseph Ajaero from the National Union of Electricity Employees (NUEE).

While MWUN President General would be slogging it out with three other candidates namely; Comrade Audi Titus Amba from the Nigerian Union of Teachers (NUT) and Comrade Kabiru Ado Sanni from the Medical and Health Workers Union of Nigeria (MHWUN).

The release which was made available by the Union’s media relations officer, Comrade Oniha Erazua, other offices contested and their contestants are Financial Secretary, Comrade Marwan Mustapha Adamu Mni ,
National Trustee: Comrade Williams Akporeha , Internal Auditor: Comrade Babatunde Hoke Olatunn, Comrade Mohammed Haruna Ibrahim and Comrade Garbage Igrehinm
