Fast-rising gospel minister, Sunmisola Adefolalu, popularly known as Global Glory, has released a new worship album titled Abiyamo Ika (Unkind Mother), a six-track project that delivers a powerful message on God’s justice, righteousness and unwavering love.
The album, now available on Audiomack, reflects the singer’s passion for soul-winning through spirit-filled worship and reinforces her growing reputation as one of the emerging voices in contemporary gospel music.
Leading the project is the title track, Abiyamo Ika, which addresses the destructive attitude of people who fiercely defend and protect their own children while harbouring hatred, envy and ill intentions towards the children of others.
Through its thought-provoking lyrics and heartfelt delivery, the song reminds listeners that God is the ultimate Judge who sees every act of injustice and will vindicate the innocent in His own time.
It also warns against jealousy, wickedness and selfish ambition, stressing that those who seek the downfall of others will ultimately be held accountable by God.
Beyond the title track, the album features five other worship songs; Ebenezer, Olugbeja, Mo Rire Gba, Majemu and Aworan-Ife, each conveying themes of thanksgiving, divine protection, covenant, worship and God’s unfailing love.
The release follows the success of Adefolalu’s debut album, Aanu To Tayo (Outstanding Mercy), a five-track project featuring Ire, Adura, Oloore, Mo Yege and Iranlowo.
The debut introduced her distinctive worship ministry and earned her recognition as one of the fast-rising ministers in the gospel music scene.
With Abiyamo Ika, Global Glory continues her mission of drawing people closer to God through inspiring worship, encouraging believers to remain steadfast in faith and to trust in God’s perfect justice and abundant mercy.
