MWUN Commends Tinubu’s Appointment Of Badmus, Edet As NPA Executive Directors

The Maritime Workers Union of Nigeria (MWUN) has commended the appointment of Mr. Olalekan Badmus and Ms. Vivian Edet as Executive Directors at Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA).

MWUN gave this commendation in a statement issued by its President-General, Comrade Adewale Adeyanju, on Monday.

While Mr. Olalekan Badmus was appointed as Executive Director, Marine & Operations; Ms. Vivian Richard Edet was appointed as Executive Director, Finance & Administration, NPA by President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

“Your promotions did not just come on a platter of gold but as a testament of your uncompromising tenacity to hardwork, wealth of experience and unblemished track record of service delivery.

“The Union is highly delighted at your appointments especially at this critical time of our nation when inventive approach is needed to make the country’s seaports the hub of port users in the West African sub-region,” the MWUN statement read.

The leadership of the MWUN assured the new Executive Directors of its unalloyed support and cooperation in a bid to engender industrial growth, peace and harmony in all the ports formations nationwide.
