Ahead of the coming governorship primary election of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo State, the pioneer Chairmen of APC across the State has shown support for the candidacy of Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa.

Leading the group of pioneer Chairmen on a solidarity visit to the Governor’s office on Monday, Hon Rasheed Badmus, a former commissioner for physical planning and urban development noted that they are very active and are supporting Governor Aiyedatiwa’s view for Ondo State.

While paying tributes to Late Governor Akeredolu, he also appreciated God for giving them Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa, saying that he was ordained by God.

“We are with you, we are ready to work for you and support you, without any influence. We assure you that we will not change”, he stressed.

He requested that they should be integrated in the coming campaign, adding that they have been delivering in the past, and would definitely win for Governor Aiyedatiwa.

Also, Mr Oredola Jacob noted that they are convinced by Governor Aiyedatiwa as the right man for the job.

He urged him to reconcile with everybody, should not expect everybody to be on his side, but be relaxed that the majority are with him. He added that he should not allow the action of the few to affect his action against the majority and also ensure to get the party fully involved.

Reacting, Governor Aiyedatiwa appreciated the Hon. Badmus for proving a good leadership for the group and not allowing it to disintegrate.

He promised not to take them for granted or disappoint them in any way and would also carry the party along in his government.
