Ondo Assembly Speaker expresses displeasure over attack on lawmaker’s vehicle

The Speaker, Ondo State House of Assembly, Rt.Hon.(Chief) Olamide Oladiji has condemned in strong terms the attack on the vehicle belonging to the lawmaker representing Okitipupa Constituency 1, Hon. Chris Ayebusiwa on Saturday, along Arakale road, Akure.

This was contained in an official statement made available to journalists on Sunday, through the Chairman, House Committee on Information, Hon. (Chief) Olatunji Oshati.

While expressing displeasure at the development and urging individuals to refrain from pointing accusing fingers at any group, the Speaker called on law enforcement agencies to investigate the matter with a view of bringing the culprits to book.

Oladiji, who sympathized on behalf of other lawmakers with Hon. Ayebusiwa on the unfortunate incident, described the action of the alledged hoodlums as uncalled for, saying such is capable of disrupting the existing peace in the State.
