Ondo Council Boss urges Christians to imbibe spirit of humility, love

The Executive Chairman of Ifedore Local Government area Ondo State, Hon.(Engr.) Alex Oladimeji, FNSE has charged Christians and political stakeholders across the state and Ifedore local government to always imbibe the spirit of love, humility, perseverance and forgiveness as exemplified by Christ on earth.

The council boss made the charge while congratulating the Christian faithfuls in the council area and the State at large as they celebrate the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ in the land of living.
 
Oladimeji described Easter period as a yearly opportunity for christian faithfuls to purify their hearts,minds and devote themselves to self-sacrifice by forgoing their basic needs for food and drink, seeking forgiveness for their transgressions, and dedicating their lives to Christ
 
According to the Council boss,Easter period are obligated for Christian to be kind, generous and caring, by supporting the poor and the needy as practiced by Jesus Christ .

The chairman who also described Easter period As a period of purification, and devotion urge Christian to strength their commitment to the service of our lord Jesus Christ .

Oladimeji stressed that God’s grace was sufficient for all through the thick and thin, today we are still standing on our feet as a testimony of His love and open to everyone doors of better and greater testimonies , bring fulfilments, joy all-round, success in all ways, good health through out and beyond, mercies from God and human beings and time for services of God Almighty.

While praying that all acts of worship be accepted and rewarded he urge Christian to pray for peace, progress and development of Ifedore ,Ondo state and Nigeria during Easter festival.

Oladimeji who also congratulated the Governor of the state Arakurin Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu, his deputy and members of the state executive council
use the occasion of Easter to assure members of Ifedore that the state government will continue to give top priority to what will improve their welfare.
