Ondo NAWOJ Gets Acting Chairperson

Mrs Tola Gbadamosi of The Hope Newspaper has taken over as the acting Chairperson of the Nigeria Association of Women Journalists, NAWOJ, in Ondo state.

The development followed the redeployment of the Ondo State chairperson of the association, Mrs Doris Olumoko to Abeokuta, Ogun State as the New Manager of NTA, Abeokuta.

This was contained in a statement signed by the Secretary of the association, Oluwatosin Ighoteguono on Friday.

The association appreciated Mrs. Olumoko for her selflessness, intelligence and doggedness in ensuring that NAWOJ in Ondo State stood firmly in promoting the course of women, widows and the girl child.

Ondo NAWOJ commended Mrs Olumoko for a purposeful and eventful leadership offered the association and pray the Lord grant her the wisdom and strength to accomplish greater tasks in her new station.

The association enjoined the acting Chairperson, Mrs Gbadamosi to work with other executives and members in order to take the association to a greater heights, pending the emergence of a substantive chairperson.
